Catalyst Track: Change Makers // Day Three

“By your spirit I will rise, from the ashes of defeat

The resurrected king is resurrecting me

In your name I come alive, to declare your victory

The resurrected king is resurrecting me”

These are lyrics to the song “Resurrecting” by Elevation Worship.

It’s Holy Week this week. It’s the time when we await the resurrection of our glorious savior Jesus, who died ingloriously on a cross.

And with his resurrection comes the opportunity for our resurrection, our transformation, our change.

This week’s track features stories of this transformational change – individual change and community change. Over the next few days, hear personal stories from Justin & Trisha Davis, Hannah Brencher and the Huangs with San Francisco City Impact on what change has looked like in their lives.

What will your story of change be? If you’re ready to find out, complete the challenges at the end of each day.

DAY 3: San Francisco City Impact

The Tenderloin is one of the roughest districts of San Francisco. And it is into this space that Roger Huang and his son Christian entered to share the changing and freeing power of Christ they themselves experienced in their lives.

After having started and serving via San Francisco City Impact, they were challenged not to make the Tenderloin the place where they just served – but to stay put, to make that their community and place of worship, to live and be a part of the ongoing transformational change.

CHALLENGE:

Into what space is God calling you to “stay put,” to commit to being a vehicle for change in the lives of others? What steps will you take to live this out this week?
