People-Pleasers: Part Three

If God already accepts us in Christ, then we are living out of the posture of His pre-approval. 

On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4

If you are called by God to do ministry, then you are approved by Him, and are trusted with His gospel, but when we shift to a place where we are attempting to earn the approval of people we neglect the calling that God has already placed on our lives. Just like in Craig's story, there will be times when someone else says you don't, or you're not, or you can't, but the question is; when that happens, will you turn to God and trust in Him when he says:

"You are not who others say you are, you are who God says you are."
